First discovered by BBC Social, this gone-viral video has it all – wild scenery, hot yoga, and men in kilts. Want more? Of course you do. Indulge yourself with this short guide to Finlay and model yoga student Tristan.

Be sure to watch to the end, for the big reveal

Finlay is no slouch. Introduced to Yoga in 2007 following surgical procedures on both legs, ten years later he’s completed over 1000 hours of training with Forrest Yoga Certification Programmes along with over 1000 hours of Ashtanga and Vinyasa training. He’s a certified Forrest Yoga teacher, Forrest Yoga Guardian-in-training and Senior Yoga Alliance teacher. He’s also the founder and principal teacher of Heart Space Yoga & Bodyworks and has established the Young Yogis Project to bring free Yoga to toddlers, children, teenagers and young people with special needs and disability in his hometown Dundee, Scotland.

Lucky for us, Finlay leads classes all over the UK, features on his online Yoga channel at Mat2Mat, presents at Yoga conferences and performs asana demonstrations at events and fundraisers – though not always in a kilt.

It is through the process of recapitulation that I feel again what has come before and remove some of the charge, making it less reactive and painful to carry around.
