Manchester Yogathon for Mental Health

Manchester’s newest yoga studio The Life Centre North and local mental health charity 42nd Street are coming together to celebrate the longest day of the year with a 4 hour yogathon on International Yoga Day.

The event aims to allow both devotees of yoga and complete novices to join together, in an activity which is open to all ages and abilities and to raise money for a great cause. Classes will be drop-in so you can join for as little or as much yoga as you like.

Yoga, Chanting & Meditation with Nikki Slade & John Stirk

In celebration of International Yoga Day, our friends over at the Advaya Initiative will host a special event celebrating Unity and bringing in the new Season with Yoga, Chanting, Ritual and Meditation.

Participants can take part in a Chanting Kirtan workshop led by Nikki Slade, the UK’s #1 Kirtan leader and a pioneering natural voice facilitator with over 25 years experience, or a yoga workshop with John Stirk, author of The Original Body and one of the UK’s leading yoga teachers with over 40 years teaching experience.
